A close encounter

A close encounter.

My story began back in May 2008…was I 60 or 61, oh well, it was there about’s.

I had just closed down the pc after a bit of surfing, it was around midnight my wife and step daughter were already in bed.

I started feeling a discomfort in my chest…to start with I thought it was a touch of indigestion. The discomfort grew more intense to the point where it felt like something was being ripped…

Hi Terr yand welcome to the AD support group. Sorry not to welcome you sooner but have been away on business and only just back. Seems Richard and Kimberlee have made you very welcome already and given you the lowdown on the site as well. So, as we all say, jump right in - as we are all here to help you and one another.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks Terry for your thoughts. As for my age, I was 31 and 34wks pregnant when I had my AD. I am 37 now. I learned through all of this to find the bright side to everything in my life. So I look at how young I was/am and just tell myself "well I learned at a young enough age to appreciate life the way most people never do", I also feel that I appreciate my children more now that life showed me just how short it can be. I don't enjoy every moment and appreciate every flower, butterfly, smile, laugh, everything. Sometimes it just takes one to force themselves to look at things differently.
