My Story

Where to start... I had no warning or symptoms, and was swimming 2-3 miles a day up until my acute Type A dissection on November 5, 2012.  My sister and I were visiting our terminally ill mother in Chicago and were packing to fly home (she to Idaho, I to Philadelphia) when I felt a ripping sensation in my chest.  I had time to call out to her to "call 911," which she did, thank God (I'm glad we were on good terms!!!).  I remember thinking I should sit down, then lie down, and the next few…

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( ) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.

Visit the John Ritter foundation, lots of information and you may be able to join their research program and get help. I'm not too sure how it works since my dissection was due to pregnancy. I'll add links at the end of my comments for you.  AS for my results my aneurysm has increased, so along with the valve leaking more, my doc is now referring me to a cardiac surgeon. I"m just waiting for them to call to set up appointment.   I also encourage your son to get a ct, or at least let his primary doctor know his mom had a dissection, it should be in his medical records and also he should also let doctors know about your dissection whenever he visits an emergency room.  OK now links John Ritter Foundation  and  John Ritter Research Program
