Aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm - The aorta - Life after an aortic dissection

Thanks be to God I have lived 2 years after the AD that almost took my life in Jan. 2013. Thank be to all my family, friends, and the members on this support site that have had my back through the last 2 not so easy years. I appreciate all the support and encouragement that made it possible for me to make it through the 2 hardest years of my life. I feel good and look forward to yet another year one day at a time. I pray that all of you have a good year. Thanks for being here and Happy New Year from the great Northwest of the U.S.A., Wayne.

The first two years are the worst. My wife was told I wouldn't survive the operation but 2 years later I rode my motorcycle from England to Italy and back, some 2000 miles. It's all in your attitude to life. Keep positive.
