Thanks be to God I have lived 2 years after the AD that almost took my life in Jan. 2013. This summer has not been the best for myself. I was just getting used to the fact that I cannot do all the things that I used to do and was quit comfortable with the changes. A very great day in my life. At last I have recieved the results from the first yearly CT scan. I had the scan done on the 8th of Jan. and the pictures got lost for a while. At first I thought no news was good news, but I needed to hear it was all good. I still wake up at night and worry. The heart surgen called yesterday and said that all looks good on the pics from the scan. This is great information and really helps with the way I look at the future. Today is the one year anniversary of possibly the worst day of my life a type A an b dissection and aortic aneurysm. By all accounts of the doctors and nurses who treated me I should be dead. This is how it went down.

I just wanted to wish all of the members here a wonderful 2014. There has been a number of times this year that I did not know if I was going to see 2014. Well here it is and I am feeling great about life for another year. It will be one year on the 10th of January that I went into surgery for a type A and B AD.
