I have a question.

Hello again from the great North West of the USA. I Hope all is going well for all of you.

This summer has not been the best for myself. I was just getting used to the fact that I cannot do all the things that I used to do and was quit comfortable with the changes. I had gone back to the job I had done most of my life (road construction) as a paving foreman on large scale  projects. This went well for a while until the company began to continue to add responsibliltys to the point that…

watch for scams

Mary Zambia, a new member,  claims to be in a refugee camp in Africa and is asking for personal information claiming she will transfer 6.5 million dollars in your account  when she has this information. To good to be true? I think so. Beware!!!

first CT scan results

A very great day in my life. At last I have recieved the results from the first yearly CT scan. I had the scan done on the 8th of Jan. and the pictures got lost for a while. At first I thought no news was good news, but I needed to hear it was all good. I still wake up at night and worry. The heart surgen called yesterday and said that all looks good on the pics from the scan. This is great information and really helps with the way I look at the future. I made it though one year healthy I…

It was a typical day for me in Hood River Oregon.  As usual I was up early to catch the fresh powder that had once again fallen on Mt Hood Meadows. I had moved from Alaska in November of the previous year so I could be around my family, ski some different areas…

Thank you

I just wanted to thank all of the members for allowing me to join this site. It was nice to see that there were others in this world that has the same fears about living with a medical issue that could end your life at any moment. It has been less than a year since the accident. I call it this because I was skiing when this happened and I had to tell the  resort I had a skiing accident to redeem some of my season pass.  Anyways, there has not been a day that has gone by since my surgery that…
