Aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm - The aorta - Life after an aortic dissection
This is TOTALLY non PC.. but - as many of you know - I am a firm believer in getting all that I/we can out of life after such a massive life change as having - and surviving an AD:
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
― Hunter S. Thompson
Couldn't agree more! Nicola
I totally agree!!! And having an A/D should not mean sitting around being afraid to live life for fear that it will rupture. For me it means getting up and pushing the limits a little farther every chance I get. I may have a type B abdominal A/D but it dont have me
P.S....you forgot Graeme.... He will hopefully say : Well Done!!!!!
and What a ride it was......... :)
