Comment by Kimberlee Jones on October 6, 2011 at 0:04 Stay strong your a survivor. My advice is always listen to your body. I was 31 and 34wks pregnant when I had my dissection. My only symptom was a slight pressure in center of my chest that I thought was just gas build up. As for the new aneurysm they have found, I know you just said you don't have much luck, but that is the opposite of the truth..they found it, they are aware of it. My aneurysm which is in the same location as my dissection/graph is 5.1 cm. The docs now know it is there and will be watching it closely, I would imagine a ct scan or echo once year. They usually don't do surgery unless the aneurysm reaches 6 - 7cm. Mine was discovered almost 6 years ago and has not grown since, so don't let this keep you down. You like the rest of us are lucky, lucky to be a survivor and with the new aneurysm lucky they discovered it before it was too late.
*hugs* from one lucky lady to another.
Keep you head up and stay strong.
