Aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm - The aorta - Life after an aortic dissection

Greetings again after so many years. It's been 7+ years since my aortic dissection August 30, 2009. I had an abscessed tooth in the Spring of 2013 which infected my spine and heart valve. After several months of treatment including 5 weeks in hospital (again), I partially recovered. It may have been Faulkner who said that when we're struck with adversity we have two choices: throw in the towel or use it to wipe off the sweat. I'll always take the last choice. Wishing y'all my fond regards and continuing support.

Cheers, Deryck
