I know they say you van live with it , but come on , what about quality of life, does that count for anything?

hope this message finds you well on a super sunny autumnal day here in England.. Have not been to the states for a few years now..used to nearly live there at one time.. :-) Maybe next year or the year after... my work keeps me busy in Europe and UK plus now and again Australia or Indian Ocean. My AD was April 23rd, 2003 - St Georges day here and Iwas operated on in St Georges Hospital (!!) same day for an emergency Type A Ascending AD. Had a full dacron replacmenet right up to and past my Aortic Arch plus a new Aortic Valve (mechanical) as my aortic valve was also shredded during the dissection. I have a blog about it on the site if if you want to read it. Took a very (!!) long time to get my head back together after it.. hence this site to help everyone else - i wish i had it it to help me - so thought why not - and it is great to see it helping so many other now.
