My new bike
This is my 65th birthday present to myself. It's a BMW R1200RT SE, that's a 1200cc flat twin with 6-speed gearbox, automatic stability control, ABS, cruise control, electronic suspension adjustment, heated grips, heated seats, radio, CD player and SatNav. I love it!

When you've had a life-changing condition, I think it's important to focus on the good things in life and concentrate on what you enjoy, rather than dwelling on your problems. No-one knows how much time we have left so lets make the most of what we have now.
