Dizziness and fainting

It's almost 5 years since my AD. I had a lot of dizzy spells to begin with, which gradually dimished and became less frequent. However, lately I 've been getting more of them and a few of them are followed by a fainting spell. The first was a couple of months ago. Shell shocked!

I am a 47 yrs old, fit and healthy senior nurse with a busy stressful job which I thought I was managing all very well. Mild well controlled asthma is my only past history. BP- normal, cholesterol 2.6.That all changed 2 weeks ago.On 2.5.15 I was out with friends for lunch and experienced an intense pain in my neck, it subsided after about 20 minutes.I would add my friends are also senior nurses! Hi.I've just joined this group so am finding my way around the site. By way of introduction I thought i'd share a bit about myself. Hope that's OK .I'm 62 and (was) in good shape until recently .I had an uncomfortable feeling in my chest one day whilst driving  to an appointment.
